I am so happy because today I got to catch up with some of my friends that I haven’t seen in probably almost FIFTEEN years. We were good friends in elementary school, but I moved to NYC and we pretty much haven’t seen each other since…until we ran into each other on the street a couple months ago! Maddy has her own adorable fashion blog and Izzy (the talented photographer for this shoot) designs her own scarves (I’m obsessed)!! We decided to do a boho-chic inspired photoshoot, and I think my black lace romper & Maddy’s flared-sleeve mini go perfectly together. 

I wore this perfect winter black lace romper from tobi.com (more cute bottoms here) with tiny black booties sans tights (it was in the high-50s today), but it’s also great for colder date nights with a pair of black tights and leather jacket!

The stunning Maddy is wearing the For Love and Lemons Juliet A-Line Dress with a pair of Stuart Weitzman 5050 Boots. This dress is so versatile and can literally be worn during any season (black suede boots add an edge and a winter flare to this sweet little mini).

This necklace from the LookBook Store is perfect for a deep plunge neckline. I love body chains, and I often wear them under dresses and rompers to get this exact look, but wearing this necklace is a lot simpler!

Leather jackets! Furry jackets!

I thought my Rebecca Minkoff fringed bag went perfectly with our boho-chic theme (other fringed bags I’m obsessed with here, here and here).
