Alright, let’s get this review started!

This product really surprised me (in a good way!). I'm usually underwhelmed by volumizing products. I find they make my hair feel sticky, look oily, or don't work at all. This was not the case with Big Sexy Hair's Volumizing & Texturizing Powder. Not only did it actually create a voluminous look for my "Day 3 Blowout" hair, but also it worked as a dry shampoo! My hair looked amazing after I used it, and I definitely plan on using this product again.

This mask sounded pretty cool--it has activated charcoal in it, which acts like a magnet to unclog pores, and it's supposed to reduce shine and absorb excess oil (all things that my skin desperately needs). I would use this mask again; it definitely made my skin look clearer (I felt like a had a glow!), and it felt really smooth afterwards. The only thing I didn't love was the feeling of the mask drying on my skin. However, I think that's pretty much unavoidable when you're dealing with cleansing masks, so I adjusted my rating accordingly.

I am a HUGE moisturizer addict. I'm the type of person that can't stop thinking about my dry skin if I'm not moisturized properly--to the point where I will GO HOME to get body lotion. So, I'm pretty much the perfect person to try out Curel's new moisturizer. I ended up really liking it. I like that it is fragrance free, both because my boyfriend and I tend to share moisturizer and he doesn't like girly smells, and because I don't like anything messing with my signature Chanel perfume scent (hehe). My skin instantly felt moisturized after I used it, but I did feel a bit of an after-grease on my skin hours later. It wasn't dramatic enough to make me stop using this body lotion, but I will probably just put on a little less next time to see if that will help the oily feeling.

This sleek looking hair remover doesn't just look cool--it actually works. Unfortunately, I've already lasered off most of my body hair (well, no...it's actually pretty fortunate), but this would have been an amazing tool for me a couple years ago for those delicate areas. It definitely won't work on coarser hair, but it works really well on fine hair (facial, arm, etc.) and its REALLY easy to set up and use. I tested it on my arm, and I could barely feel anything. It kind of felt like a soothing tickle or massage--quite pleasant actually! I would recommend this for anyone who has finer hair that they would like to maintain. It's super easy, quick and painless. This was another product that really (pleasantly) surprised me. At first, this seemed just like a super unnecessary product to me, but once I tried it...woah. So amazing. The lavender smell was relaxing; the heat level was just right, and I immediately felt SO chill. I even made my boyfriend try it and he was just as surprised (and enthusiastic). I really loved the product and will definitely use it again!

Whew! We made it through all of the products in the box. This was an AMAZING box–I found at least two new products that I will continue to use and probably buy again on my own (the Big Sexy Hair powder and the Gentle Steam Eye Masks were my favorites!).

Let me know if you have tried or plan to try any of these products–would love to hear what you guys think of them too.

xx
