Superfluous in my Surplus Jacket (JK)

All smiles in my newest look today (totally not superfluous–I just liked the way that sounded with “surplus”). Speaking of…I love this “surplus” jacket from Urban. It’s super comfy and I think it adds an edge to even the most basic of outfits (like this one–a simple knit tee dress). I love layering utility jackets, leather jackets, etc. over a simple black dress with booties and high socks.

As you know, I love my high socks–and pretty much add them to any outfit (skirts or shorts!). And, of course, I accessorized it with my newest baby, my Celine micro luggage tote. There is nothing “micro” about this bag, however, and it’s the perfect ever-day bag that fits anything you could think of to bring out with you.
