Given that it’s been steadily in the mid-60s for the past two weeks, I’ve decided to explore a different kind of holiday outfit this year: a two-piece set. We all know that I love a good two-piece set, especially one from BooHoo, and the velour material on this cowl neck midi-skirt set gives it a more elegant feel that makes it a perfect, perhaps edgier, holiday party alternative.

I also decided to pop one of my favorite new outerwear pieces, this New Friend’s Colony jacket, over the outfit to give it more elegant (and conservative, in case your boss makes an appearance) look. I think it really dresses up the look, and allows you to dress it down quite easily if you go out for some Christmas shots afterwards…
